TIMEFRAME:

“South-bounders” usually begin when the Harts Pass Rd opens, typically around July 4th. “North-bounders” want to make sure they’re done by mid-October to avoid early snowstorms.

• Gear up & fuel at Cascades Outdoor Store or Winthrop Mountain Sports

TRANSPORTATION:

• Please be aware that using Public transport will actually be more costly and require much more time and connections as well as require an overnight in Wenatchee, Omak or Pateros

• NEW Hike Cascades is offering a one-way shuttle from Mazma to Hart’s Pass for $60/hiker. 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Mazama to Hart’s Pass

  1:15 PM - 2:45 PM: Hart’s Pass to Mazama

• Catch public bus (TRANGO) from Winthrop baseball field to Mazama Store at 7:21 am, 9:21am or 11:21am for $1 dollar.
